The MEAC, Rejoice Musical Soul Food Gospel Radio Network and Winston-Salem’s popular WQMG 97.1 and sister station Big WEAL Gospel station 1510 AM have teamed up to present the inaugural 2010 MEAC Gospel Flight Brunch presented by Wachovia on Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The 2010 MEAC Gospel Flight Brunch presented by Wachovia will be an uplifting inspirational event where MEAC alumni, from around the country, along with local Winston-Salem/Greensboro residents will collectively feast on joyous music featuring Stellar Award nominee James Fortune & FIYA; in addition to highlighting local Triad talent. The James Fortune and FIYA single "I Trust You" spent over 10 weeks as the #1 song on the R&R Gospel charts. The success of that single secured Fortune & FIYA a 2008 Stellar Award nomination as Contemporary Gospel Choir of the Year.
The 2010 MEAC Gospel Flight Brunch is a special opportunity for fans to enjoy a delicious brunch in an atmosphere of Southern hospitality where your body and soul will be fed before attending the MEAC Men’s and Women’s Championship Finals at the Joel Coliseum. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to meet the 2010 Miss MEAC queen and her court.
