Located on the Westside of Baltimore, Md., Coppin State University is a 52-acre campus that is just 15 minutes from the Inner Harbor, which houses some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and the Maritime Museum. Coppin State was founded in 1900 and named after the late Fanny Jackson Coppin. The University is a public, urban, liberal arts university offering Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master’s degrees through nine academic schools: Arts and Science; Education; Nursing; Professional Studies; Graduate Studies; Management; Management Science; Economics; and Honors College.
